Recipes

Try these recipes for a ‘taste’ of what Pip’s Cooking School can do for you! You will create a healthy meal from fresh ingredients and experience quick, easy cooking at the same time!

First and foremost are fresh ingredients – get down to your local market or green-grocer and look for seasonal vegetables. They’ll be cheapest and freshest.

Get to know your local butcher, poulterer and fishmonger for the best fresh meats and seafood. Buy something fresh. Try something different.

Grow your own herbs in the garden, or, if space is limited, in a pot. Nothing, but nothing, beats fresh parsley, oregano, rosemary and thyme. Just pick the sprigs you need to flavour a dish – the plant won’t mind, it simply grows another sprig for you.

Some of these recipes have been demonstrated on television in the ‘Cooking from scratch’ segment of the lifestyle program ‘Vasili’s Garden’ (Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide – Channel 31).
