Tuesday 3rd May – Madrid

We’ll meet you any time from 2pm at our favourite design hotel, centrally located in the gorgeous Plaza Santa Ana! You’ll have the afternoon to settle in and then we’ll celebrate your arrival with a tapas extravaganza in a bar that has become a true Madrileño institution!

Wednesday 4th May – Sevilla

Join us on an early morning tour of Madrid’s Mercado de San Martin (fresh produce market). Learn the intricacies of jamón iberico (Spanish ham), chorizo, olives and queso manchego (manchego cheese) before participating in a Madrileño cooking class with a wonderful local chef. After lunch we’ll take the AVE fast train down to beautiful Sevilla.

Meals: breakfast, lunch

Thursday 5th May – Sevilla

We’ll start today with a walking tour of Sevilla’s old town, including a visit to the world’s third largest cathedral where we’ll scale the steps in the Giralda (tower) for incredible views over all of Sevilla! Tonight, with a cocktail in hand, we’ll watch the sunset over this gorgeous city before a tapas tour through the labyrinth of tapas bars in the vibrant Santa Cruz area.

Meals: breakfast, dinner

Friday 6th May – Jerez de la Frontera

Today we’ll spend the day in Jerez de la Frontera, the home of Fino sherry (sherry can only be called sherry if it’s from this region). We’ll tour the fantastic local fish market, be taken on a special guided visit of the city’s oldest bodega (winery) and indulge in a feast of Jerez’s traditional foods.

Saturday 7th May – Sevilla

Today you have the whole day to explore Sevilla at your leisure. Have a look through your ‘biznaga pack’ for suggestions on what to do and where to go.

Sunday 8th May – Granada

Today, we’ll make our way through the olive groves and almond orchards to Granada with a stop for a typical ‘Sunday Lunch’ in a tiny ‘pueblo’ (village) along the way. Once in Granada, we’ll spend the afternoon exploring the stunning ‘Alhambra’ with a local guide who will share the folk stories and legends that have been passed down through the generations.

Meals: breakfast, lunch

Monday 9th May – Biznaga day

Today you will participate in the very special biznaga day. All the activities are a complete surprise, but we promise you’ll have a fantastic day and will enjoy ‘giving back’ to this really deserving Spanish community.

Thursday 12th May – Málaga

Our final day starts with a breakfast of “Chocolate y Churros” before we meet our favourite local chef for a guided tour of the nearby fresh food market.
